Senior Data Engineer

Workload: Part-time to Full-time contract (0.5 to 1.0 allocation)

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Warsaw, with flexibility for full remote work, for a Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will also collaborate with various teams to offer solutions to technical and business challenges.

• Designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Databricks and modern data engineering practices
• Building robust, production-grade data pipelines with a strong focus on security, governance, and reliability
• Ingesting, transforming, validating, and cleaning data to support diverse business needs
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions
• Improving and maintaining existing data pipelines and platform components
• Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices in version control and deployment (CI/CD)
• Debugging and resolving issues in data workflows
• Contributing to technical design, architecture, and continuous platform improvements
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
• Supporting and enhancing the Client’s platform, contributing to platform operations and architecture
• Managing Databricks platform components, including workspace configuration, cluster policies, and user access
• Applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform
• Automating deployment and monitoring tasks in a collaborative DevOps environment
• Sharing knowledge and supporting team growth through documentation and technical sessions
